I am a Norwegian-licensed clinical psychologist with several years of experience in psychiatry in Norway and Denmark. I have experience in treating trauma, depression, addiction, shame, and minority stress.
My primary treatment approaches include Prolonged Exposure (PE), LGBTQ+ affirmative therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Metacognitive Therapy (MKT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)."
Qualifications
Educational background
- Bachelor and Master in psychology (MsC) (Approved by NOKUT) at Aarhus University, BSS. Highest grade given for thesis about shame.
Experience
- 4 years of experience in assessment and treatment of a broad range of mental health issues, as well as LGBT+ affirmative therapy and trauma therapy (in Denmark and Norway) through work in specialized healthcare, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (BUP), and a research clinic in Denmark.
